I was so ecstatic and at the same time said “it’s about damn time!” when my sister told me Ricardo proposed to her! I am sure our Dad was saying the same thing. I can just hear him now..

Soon after, we planned to do their engagement photos and some family photos including Ricardo’s son, Kyrin. Kelly has been in Kyrin’s life since he was one years old (he’s now ten) and considers him as her son and loves him dearly.

Kelly and Ricardo met in 2010 while she was in college and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. One late night in their bedroom they were talking about what they wanted in their future. He told her, like he had many times before, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and she told him the same thing. While he was proposing, she still didn’t think that was the moment until he pulled out the ring. She started sobbing asking if it was real because she had been waiting very patiently for it to happen!

Ricardo, I am so happy to be officially calling you my brother in law and my boys gain another Uncle and Cousin! You make my sister so happy and I couldn’t be more thrilled for you both. Love you all so much and can’t wait for the wedding festivities. Whenever that may be.. ;) <3
