Kaitlyn and I met in college and she was a graphic design major. She was always such a sweetheart and when she contacted me asking to be her wedding photographer, I was so thrilled! She makes it the third PCA&D alumni this year to have hired me for their wedding services. I feel so incredibly fortunate! A little bit about them: Jim was was a regular customer as the Sunoco Kaitlyn manages. He would instantly give her butterflies with just the occasional "thank you and have a good day." He eventually stopped coming in he moved. Years, went by and they happen to bump into each other at another gas station...(what are the odds?!) Ever since, it was love!
He proposed on their front porch on a snowy, December day while she watched the snow lay in the fields and horse and buggies go by. He came outside, hugged her and got down on one knee.
Kaitlyn loves everything vintage, especially if it includes applied graphic design. So she really wanted to incorporate vintage gas pumps to tie in how they met. I thought it was the most perfect and unique idea! Also, Jim is such a natural in front of the camera! I barely had to tell him what to do!
I look forward to their wedding next May!
